This ought to keep my mind off of things :)

We are headed to Yosemite this weekend for a cabin-staying, snow-shoeing, fun-having trip with some friends. Thanks to an awesome idea of roomie's, we'll be snow shoeing out to Dewey Point at the edge of the valley on the south rim and it should look a lot like this - I really can't wait to get there!!

3 days to 30 years

Well, it's fast approaching, in only 3 days, I will officially not be able to say "my life before 30."

I can't complain, my life is great, I have done a lot of things I never thought I would do, and many things I expected to happen have not. guess that's what life is all about!

I'm curious, so bare with me here, let's see what those things are exactly . . . .

Things I never thought I'd do:

move to CA
ski the sierras
climb half dome
camp across utah
backpack volcanoes alone
ski dive
tour Europe - twice
go to mexico
buy a house
manage a nationally-recognized program
become a lobbyist?!
plan a trip to new zealand
have friends from all over the world

Things I expected, but didn't happen (yet):

meet my partner in life
get married
have children

I guess I can't really complain :) This has helped a lot. I really should have done this a long time ago. Thanks : )

Ski Heavenly!

We hit the slopes again this past weekend. All winter, there was barely any snow, then BOOM! we got hit with like 8 feet of snow a few weeks ago!!

It's late in the season, so we're trying to get up to Tahoe as much as possible. Last weekend it was Heavenly - by far the best views in Tahoe skiing :)

Here are my snow mates taking a little break in the powder . . .

Enjoying a little quiet time on the lift (and a break for the legs)!

Yay for my awesome friend and roomie who also loves to hit the slopes!!

PLACEBO TICKETS and ME!!!!

I may NOT be paying like $600 bucks to see Placebo in Coachella, music for the masses - literally (of course these are ALL the people who claim NOT to be the masses). They are just as exclusive, clicky, and conforming to their own styles and behavior that is "acceptable" or expected in THEIR circles. huh. hypocrites.

Anyways, let me step down from my soap box, because my real point is that . . . .

INSTEAD, I am seeing them in a much more intimate environment at the Fillmore, and for a whopping $25 bucks!!! Plus I only have to drive 98 miles instead :)

San Francisco - Here we come!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
