A TRUE INSPIRATION, A TRUE HEROINE

2004 Nobel Peace Prize for leading the planting of over 20 million trees across Kenya and creating the Green Belt Movement across Africa.

I had the honor and pleasure of hearing her speak on Sunday at the 10th Anniversary Dinner for Canopy, a non-profit urban forest organization in Palo Alto, CA.

You've captured a lovely spirit in Wangari. Her soul is connected to more than just trees... and her efforts will allow all of us to breathe a little easier - truly!

Love to you,
JB
