Good news

The good news is my awesome cousins gave me a gorgeous antique armoire that could not be more perfect for my house, my taste, and my needs * BIG SMILE* I love antiques and this one matches all of my other furniture so perfectly and it has storage space, which I desperately need in my little tiny house.

I'm sorry to hear that about work! I can't imagine that they would have anything negative to say about you - you've worked so hard for them!! :( Go enjoy a glass of wine!!

Me too, I'm sorry to hear that as well. The irony is, coming from a Manager as well, I could see how easily it is to focus on the negative. When I give an eval, I do 'try' and focus the first 1/3'rd on the positives, etc. Thereafter, if warranted, I do go into whatever needs to be addressed. Coming from this view point C, I'd take what they said to heart, if it is something that is tangible and makes sense. If you feel as though you are already doing what they are saying that you are not, then I'd ask them questions. An eval is a two way street. It is for them to express concerns, and for you to ask questions. I'm not sure what transpired, but do understand that you are frustrated. I'd be to if I dedicated my time, my sweat and blood to a cause that was a deep, deep part of me, and then receive this type of eval. I know you work from your heart. Right now, from what we learned in PPTI, try to step out of your shoes, and see it from their point of view. Right now, I think your emotions and ego might be getting the best of you. Realize that all of you are on the same team, working towards the same cause and goals.

In my hearts-heart, I know you are where you need to be in your career. You are happy and know that you are working towards the better good for mother nature and man kind. From a fellow tree hugger, keep up the good work. It's too bad you are in SACTO instead of the Bay Area. I'd give you the highest recommendations.
